Finnley Place is a British artist based in Hastings, East Sussex. Her work centres on carefully observed depictions of plants, wildlife, and coastal environments. Drawing close attention to the textures and adaptations found in nature, she creates detailed paintings that highlight the quiet resilience and intricacy of ecological systems. A graduate of Fine Art Drawing at Camberwell College of Arts, London, she first established herself as a portrait artist, with commissioned works held in private collections internationally. Her work has also been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
