I love this box! So charmingly hand painted. Little figures in a landscape with a windmill on the horizon. Dutch or German approx 1920's / 1930s. Delightful thing. Perfect on display or keeping treasures in.
Some scratches to paint work and mottling on the inside but doesn't distract from it's beauty.
